2. I envy the women that have the power to strike fear in the hearts of unobedient children. 3. If you are under the age of four it is impossible to pronounce my name. 4. Horsey rides make everyone happy. 5. So does the Walky-Buggy (a tickle game my great-grandmother played with us). 6. They are stinky and gross for a little while, but I still want to have seven of my own and form my own singing troupe. 7. Having seven would be crazy. Five. 8. Just nod your head and say, “Yeah?” or “Really?” if you don’t understand what they are saying. 9. You should treat them like what they are…little people. They are going to grow up and be productive citizens. Treat them with respect. 10. Encouraging creativity is very important. 11. Singing a song will solve a lot of problems. 12. Children are the funniest people you will ever meet. 13. Naptime is a gift from God. |

Kids are adorable and witty! We can learn a lot from them
Happy Thursday!
This is an AWESOME list! I am thrilled that you have learned this before you have your own kiddos. It will help you alot when you are a mom! I think I’m going to print this list out and put it on my fridge…it’s easy to forget this stuff when you’re a mom. :o) Come visit if you can.
YEah for naptime..I have learned a lot since becoming a pediatric nurse that I probably wouldnt know if i had my own kids
SEVEN? FIVE? Wow…good luck to you!
Happy TT!
Let me tell you, having ONE is crazy enough!! Diapers aren’t bad unless they don’t hold it all…… volcano anyone??? Agh.
children are most definitely the funniest people in the world! mine crack me up constantly.
Beautiful! I so enjoyed that! I have 2 year-old twins that almost drove me over the edge of my limited sanity today but most days I love them. I keep looking at their older sisters to remind myself that there’s something to look forward to if times are difficult now.
RYC: Yeah, I can understand how the Wiggles can be scary but we love them. They’re not as brain-zapping as Barney’s minions and they look genuinely happy to be doing what they’re doing.
Yup, singing a song really DOES solve all problems! What a great list!

I worked in a daycare for three summers during college. I loved naptime! LOL!
This is a charming post. Just the fact that you named your site what you did shows your heart. Gotta love anybody who loves the kids. As a former English major and domestic goddess, i bless you.
