In case anyone has been wondering, the posts here have been a little less than regular because I’ve been sick for the past two weeks. After my second trip the doctor I finally have some medicine that I am hoping will begin to work soon. First we are trying the inhaler which should start making an impact within the next 24 hours. If it doesn’t, I move onto the steroid they gave me. Either way, I am not supposed to be very active for the next week. Sad. I’m going to call into work tomorrow and let them know and deliver a note to my pilates class.
And I’m working on a paper and some work for my online classes. Just a few more weeks…
So far, all that the ads for Fast Food Nation have managed to do for me is make me want a cheeseburger. BAD.

The East Coast – I was within a mile of it before we had to turn around and head back to Oklahoma due to a family emergency. I have never seen the Atlantic. 6. This would be a pilgrimage for me. 9. Alaska 10. North Carolina (again) – The only time I was there before it was very early in the morning and I didn’t get to see much. 11. Today is my twenty-second birthday. I remember the day I turned eleven and I was digging around in my room looking for some clothes and I said to my mother, “Do you realize that the next time I’m a double digit I will be twenty-two?” And here I am.
This is one of my favorite pictures of myself. Look at me working the camera! Mom didn’t even have to pose that.
Happy birthday to me!
Me & Christian, originally uploaded by missliz.
This was a very special night for me. It was the night I developed the first crush I ever had. The little boy was the ring bearer at my cousin Susan’s wedding and I was just for sure that I would marry him. It was great. And I got to wear a pretty dress with shiny black shoes.
(That’s my cousin, Christian, beside me. I was older and at that time, up until about 7th grade, I was the shorter one.)
my 4th birthday, originally uploaded by missliz.
I love this birthday cake. Sesame Street. I really have no idea how much I liked it then, but since it’s my 4th birthday party and the last one that I had to myself, I would guess that it was great. You see, five days after this picture was taken, I got a little brother that we were expecting to be a little sister and from then on it was double birthdays. And the lucky little sucker got to have them on MY birthday.
And now we begin the countdown (in pictures) to the big TWO-TWO.
(I would like to add that my expression in the above photo and the one in this one are virtually the same.)
