Last night I dreamed that I was asleep and that I woke up to find that someone had stolen my couch, put up baby gates in the all the doorways of my house, shaved my dog and painted her bright pink, and painted the front of my house with black and white stripes.

    Yes.

    Thursday Thirteen #12

Nov 2, 2006 Author: Elizabeth | Filed under: Daily, Features, Thursday Thirteen
Thirteen things you may not know about me
    1. I hate the look of yellow gold. Give me white gold or platinum any day.
    2. I’m a little obsessive-compulsive about my bathroom being clean.
    3. For some reason this strange need to have things clean does not extend as far as my kitchen.
    4. I am the oldest of 23 great-grandchildren (Dad’s maternal side).
    5. I have had an online journal of some sort since May 2000.
    6. I’m sad that I don’t get to watch The View very much anymore. However, I no longer aspire to be on the show. I think I would get a headache.
    7. I prefer rainy weather. Over everything else.
    8. Despite the fact that I am an English major, punctuation, capitalization and all that stuff really means nothing to me. I’m not a grammar major, hello.
    9. I love dinner parties and cooking for people.
    10. Roses are not my thing (unless they are yellow or orange-ish). I like daffodils and lilies.
    11. When I saw that there was a new Starbucks going up down the street from my house, it sealed the deal. I’ll be living here a few more years at least.
    12. My feet are always cold. Poor circulation I guess.
    13. Heather and Aaryn probably know more about me than any other friends I have had in my entire life. And I’ve known them less time than most of my other friends. That’s college for you.
