As a small child I could never eat bologna. Ever. When I did, it did some VERY bad things to my gastrointestinal tract. So one day after I had eaten a bologna sandwich that I’d conned at kid at Vacation Bible School out of, I was lying on the couch moaning and complaining. My mom who usually told me to suck it up was looking at me intently. Something was clearly on her mind.”You know,” she began, “when I was nursing you, I ate a bologna sandwich once. And that was the worst diaper I ever changed.”
Thanks for the warning.
(And in case you were wonder, no, I do not have those issues with bologna anymore.)
Well, if there is anyone left around here, I thought I would let you know that I am back, hoping to write on a more regular basis once again. I am going to try and set up a schedule so that I can get a lot more done this summer.
Last semester was probably the worst ever where school is concerned. Other areas of my life were all sunshine and roses, but school? My my. I’m thankful to know that it isn’t likely that I will have another semester as difficult as that. My capstone is completed and I only have seven remaining hours to finish up before I earn my degree.
I quit my job at the day school, however, I am back there one day per week teaching Creative Movement. It’s fun so far (only one week in) but I hope that it gets better. My first day a 2-year-old busted my lip. And that was really attractive.
And…tomorrow Kevin and I will celebrate 6 months of dating by attending the wedding of a couple of friends ![]()
