Mispronounced for two decades and counting.
As a small child I could never eat bologna. Ever. When I did, it did some VERY bad things to my gastrointestinal tract. So one day after I had eaten a bologna sandwich that I’d conned at kid at Vacation Bible School out of, I was lying on the couch moaning and complaining. My mom who usually told me to suck it up was looking at me intently. Something was clearly on her mind.”You know,” she began, “when I was nursing you, I ate a bologna sandwich once. And that was the worst diaper I ever changed.”
Thanks for the warning.
(And in case you were wonder, no, I do not have those issues with bologna anymore.)

I know a girl who cannot and refuses to eat balogna to this day. Apparently she grew up in pretty poor circumstances and that is ALL her family ever ate. Me? I love it. I personally like the Turkey Balogna that has WAY less fat and hardly any cals
Oh I HATE bologna. I can’t stand it. Our youth pastor ALWAYS brings bologna, American cheese, white bread yellow mustard and mayonnaise to youth events where he has to feed the kids. I disgust ALL of the those ingredients, and I usually end up eating a banana and some chips that day. Although once he brought that to a place where we had hotel rooms, and I was able to make a grilled cheese sandwich, which is the one acceptable way to eat American cheese. The bad part? I made it the original way–with mayonnaise! It was yummy though.
