1. How do you feel about going to the dentist?
You’ll probably think this is sick, but I kind of like it. It’s similar to the way I feel about having my hair washed before I get it cut. I like it when people pay attention to details like that, and really, can you get anymore detailed than when it comes to picking stuff from between teeth? Didn’t think so.
2. Describe your worst dental experience.
The butcher I was referred to here in Norman. Awful, awful, awful. He had recently been injured in a skiing accident and walked…umm…limped into the room on crutches with BOTH of his legs in casts. Proceeded to drill into my not-yet-numb teeth and cut up my lips. The back of my head and my left ear stayed numb for like six hours.
3. Describe your best dental experience.
All of the ones except the above described incident.
4. Do you floss?
Umm…honestly? About once per week. Really trying to work harder on that though, so my teeth don’t rot out of my head.
5. Would you consider wearing braces as an adult?
Considering that I am considering that right now…yes. After they take out my wisdom teeth I will be getting braces of some sort (possibly Invisalign).

“Miss Elizabeth, you know why they call hippos ‘hippos’?”
“Why is that?”
“Because they have big hips.“
And while we’re talking about funny little boys: “I Kee A-dala.” Nan has a rather comical one of her own.
That’s right, it’s time for the 2007 Okie Blog Awards! What are the Okie Blog Awards you ask? Well, children, they are simply splendid. It’s a time when all the Okie bloggers come out of the woodwork and nominate their favorite Okie blogs. Magical things happen. People you never knew start to visit your blog, some of them on a regular basis. Some people link you in hopes that you’ll return the favor. It’s a very happy time.
So, Okie bloggers, get yourself on over to the 2007 Okie Blog Awards nomination page, send in your nominations, and cross your fingers that, YES, Susan Lucci, this is your year!
My favorite dance from this past season of So You Think You Can Dance. Neither of the dancers were my favorites, but I just loved this performance. I know people hated on Lacey a lot (in case you didn’t know, she was last year’s winner’s sister), but she’s so cute! And her hair in this video (while I’m sure it’s mostly extensions) has convinced me (ahem, as if I wasn’t convinced already) to grow mine out again. NOW I have reached a point in my life where I can probably say, “Not cutting it ’til I’m married.” We’ll see how long that lasts.
It’s worth watching to the end just to hear Mary Murphy.
If ever you’re near Ozark, Missouri, stop on by Lambert’s. You won’t regret it.
Favorite Thursday Thirteen this week: “Can I buy thee a buttermilk colada?“

Strep. Caught it from those nasty little lovable snot-nosed bratty darlings who gave me my name. So until I’m better, no one will be calling me Miss Wisabus or any of the many variations. See you on Monday, kiddos!
