I always wonder about names…I once got quite upset when I realized that one of my favorite names sounds silly with my current SO’s last name. Happy TT!

  2. Tina K says:

    Wonderful idea for a TT.

Number 8 is my middle name and a family tradition.

  3. Luka says:

big big fan of the name Nicholas! How would pronounce Helloe? Is it just hello with an E on the end? :-) Happy TT’ing!

  4. Malcolm says:

This was a good idea for a TT. Unity and Sabre are pretty cool names. Unique without being too outlandish.

  5. Suprina says:

    What a great list.
I too had a list of what I wanted to name my children. Then I got married and my husband vetoed every single name.
I have a cousin named Garrett. and I love the name.

My 13 is up also about 13 famous Oklahoman’s!
    Great T13!

  6. Good list. Love he name Garrett!

  7. Lori says:

I always liked Sara, Beth, and Breanna. If I would have had girls, those would have been the names I chose. At least your not going with Patience, Unique, or Blessing…lol. I work in a hospital…I hear some doozies. Happy TT.

You have a female family member named SABRE? Though I imagine, on second thought, that it would be a pretty embarrassingly Freudian name for a guy!

I personally prefer the old-fashioned ones. We’re going through an unprecedented period in human history of kids with made-up names or unconventional names (e.g., “Apple” for Gwynneth Paltrow). Pretty soon being named “Jane” or “Sarah” or “Beth” is going to be unconventional!

  9. Nicholas says:

#7 would be a brilliant name for your child!

  10. Natalie says:

    Great list of names!

    Happy Belated TT :)

  11. BOSSY says:

The ladies in your family tree have way more interesting names than those in Bossy’s family tree. Unless you are partial to Mary.
