I am so sorry that you have had to deal with such hurtful backlash – just for being conservative! I, too, am a conservative and I only vote pro-life. There – I said it – I only vote for candidates that value life – period. You have been both bold and eloquent in expressing your opinions. Isn’t it interesting how conservatives are attacked for their opinions and no one else seems to care but any word to a liberal results in a news story?

Oh honey, I am so sorry that people you thought were friends have treated you this way over politics. I mean, it is POLITICS! It’s not like you talked about their kids!!!

Just realize that they are the losers in this game. They have shown who they are on the inside and it’s not pretty. I will be praying for you.

i’m sorry that people are so human sometimes. i too have admired the way you have so passionately fought for your beliefs through your blog. and it IS yours. to do with as you wish. it’s not like you’re posting nudie pics.

i think you are a beautiful and strong woman, and that anyone who doesn’t see that is crazy.

I am absolutely appalled and disgusted by the things you’ve had to deal with these past few days. I cannot imagine how upsetting it is for you. Just keep your head up high, girl- you are strong and truly know where your convictions lie. Which honestly? Is probably more than you can say for any of those people who have attacked you.

While we may have cast different ballots yesterday, I have admired how eloquently you have shared you opinions on (gasp) YOUR personal blog over the past several months. It’s sad how many people I see being attacked for voting based on morals. Isn’t that the RIGHT thing to do? The only thing I can hope is that it’s just because tensions are still high. That’ll fade with time and they’ll realize he’s just another politician. He can’t paint rainbows in the sky, give them high paying jobs, and stop their spouse from fighting with them as they seem to believe he can do.
