I recall having my wisdom teeth out. My situation was very similar to yours, with them being slightly impacted and requiring surgery to be removed.

I also recall when it was over and we were in the car heading home, thinking “This wasn’t so bad. I’ll be able to go to work tomorrow.” Ha! When the anesthesia wore off I realized just how wrong I had been. But the worst was the dry socket… Be sure NOT to get any food trapped back there. That was more painful for me than childbirth… if that tells you anything.

This is totally reminding me of when I had mine out. I was 16, just started driving, and I asked the nurse if I could drive home. Apparently I thought I was TOTALLY fine. Then my mom told me that my feet pretty much didn’t touch the ground the whole way to the car, they had to carry me. heh.

Glad to hear you don’t have a ton of pain though, that’s awesome! My dr was a butcher, I was bruised and in pain for over a week. It was not fun. I would rather give birth again!!
