I, too, was a Craft Show Kid. We would run through McDonald's and grab a McMuffin on our way and stuff it in our mouths as we started hauling boxes and totes and bags into the building. Then as the show got going we were made to walk the aisles with dolls, pimpin' Mom and JoJo's wares. Then when we got tired we had blankets and pillows under the tables where we could curl up with color books and our Strawberry Shortcakes for awhile. Once I tied Mom's shoelaces together. I'd have done JoJo's too but she was wearing house slippers.

But aside from my stroll down Memory Lane....we had the same booth every year and we were ALWAYS across from the little old man who painted barn-scapes on saws. As the years went on we were also close to the guy with the scroll saw who could cut your name onto a plaque while you did some more browsing. And the lady with the doll door-stops was always catty-corner from us. It was quite a community.

Awesome post. I chuckled through the entire thing.

I can top #4...things painted on PLUNGERS. Not even at a craft fair, but at an otherwise reputable art gallery in North Carolina...they were supposedly painted by children with Down's Syndrome and the proceeds went back to some foundation that pays for their education. Why plungers?!?
