This is a great list. Love the way that tomatoes smell just off the fine … it reminds me of my grandfather. He always grew tomatoes. I don’t much success at gardening. Haven’t tried tomatoes since my 18 month old son (he’s sixteen now) plucked all my baby tomatoes off the vine, saying, “ball, ball, ball, ball”

Snowcones in summer remind me of my childhood when an ice cream truck that actually sold fresh snowcones used to cruise our neighborhood.

You make summer sound so sweet. I agree with all of these except I dont eat squash.
