Now that I’m the spouse of an educator, I’m on the lookout for some good deals on things that he can use in the classroom. As far as deals go I think there are better ones to be had for elementary school teachers than those teaching older children (check out the sales at Mardel this week!), but this time of year both CVS and Walgreens have some really good deals. I’ve been able to get some classroom supplies for Kevin for FREE or barely more than that.
This week CVS has some great deals on notebooks, pencils, index card cases, erasers, push pins, binder clips, pens, staplers, and sticky notes–all FREE after CVS Extra Care Bucks. If you aren’t a CVS card holder already, go and sign up!

Do you all have staples out there? I just got printer paper for $ .01 – yes, one cent for a ream of paper. I had to do the rebate thing, but still totally worth it. Also, they have free stuff for teachers once school gets closer (up here at least) and you just show your ID and you’re golden!
re: Jolene – I was totally going to mention Staples! I got a bunch of stuff for free last year; you should check out their circular weekly once back-to-school time comes. They’re really good for deals.
I like CVS, too. And they always give great coupons if you have their card.
Hollaa for good deals!! woop woop!!
