Seay's written or co-written similar books connected to the "Matrix" trilogy and "The Sopranos." Like most of these "Gospel According to (Blank)" books, they're essentially a loose series of sermon illustrations, light on any meaningful theological reflections but well-padded with enough extra words to make a whole book.

Most of the ones I've read have had a couple of interesting ideas that would have made good blog posts or magazine articles. But you can't charge fifteen bucks for a blog post or a magazine article.

Thank you for the review, Elizabeth. I have wondered about this book for a while. I am often disappointed by "Christian" books trying to draw from television shows. I am glad I decided against getting this book!
