You really do sound a LOT like myself and my school experience, and even now, with the whole verbal vs. writing skills, etc. I struggle with. It really is good to know that there are other ladies out there like this!

Wow, it’s like we were the same person in high school! It wasn’t until junior, almost senior year that I stopped walking to my locker and classes with my nose in a book and started talking to people.

(And, boy, oh boy, do I know about the 21, no boyfriend, no kisses thing. Me. Right now. Your life gives me a little hope, though.)

I consider myself a later bloomer. I was the smart girl in school for pretty much my entire years there and I only went to one, so you can imagine. I had my first boyfriend/kiss at the age of 17, but compared to everyone around me, that was super late.

I also feel like up until college, I never had a bosom friend. Now I have one and I’m not letting go!

Oh and for the record, I was voted most intellectual. hah!
