2. When you’re smiling in your sleep / Beyond the promises we keep 3. I could have swore I saw you smile at me / Standing in the pouring rain / At loss for words and running out of time / I said this crazy thing 4. Whisper to me “is this love?” 5. Should we stalk him? / Definitely 6. Waiting for the sun to kiss the sea / Paralyzed by the fragrance of the flowers / That remind me of you and me 7. And I still want the girl that really caught my eye / But she lives in Oklahoma City / Far away from me 8. And though the miles pull us apart / We both knew it from the start / Together we can make it through / Every minute that you’re gone is a minute too long / Right here’s where you belong 9. Don’t go saying that you’re okay / When you’re lonely 10. So they were both praying for something 11. She didn’t have to say what she was feeling inside / He could see the answer shining in her eyes 12. That dizzy, dancing way you feel / As every fairy tale comes real 13. 2. I’m a little obsessive-compulsive about my bathroom being clean. 3. For some reason this strange need to have things clean does not extend as far as my kitchen. 4. I am the oldest of 23 great-grandchildren (Dad’s maternal side). 5. I have had an online journal of some sort since May 2000. 6. I’m sad that I don’t get to watch The View very much anymore. However, I no longer aspire to be on the show. I think I would get a headache. 7. I prefer rainy weather. Over everything else. 8. Despite the fact that I am an English major, punctuation, capitalization and all that stuff really means nothing to me. I’m not a grammar major, hello. 9. I love dinner parties and cooking for people. 10. Roses are not my thing (unless they are yellow or orange-ish). I like daffodils and lilies. 11. Philosophy Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream 3-in-1 - MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP! 13. Lavender - I use a lot of things that are lavender scented. So chances are… |

2. I envy the women that have the power to strike fear in the hearts of unobedient children. 3. If you are under the age of four it is impossible to pronounce my name. 4. Horsey rides make everyone happy. 5. So does the Walky-Buggy (a tickle game my great-grandmother played with us). 6. They are stinky and gross for a little while, but I still want to have seven of my own and form my own singing troupe. 7. Having seven would be crazy. Five. 8. Just nod your head and say, “Yeah?” or “Really?” if you don’t understand what they are saying. 9. You should treat them like what they are…little people. They are going to grow up and be productive citizens. Treat them with respect. 10. Encouraging creativity is very important. 11. Singing a song will solve a lot of problems. 12. 2. Powder - It’s probably safe to say I like this movie too much. It speaks to me though and the music is phenomenal. Try to listen to the version of the theme with lyrics, performed by Sarah Brightman — “No One Like You”. 3. Sleeping With the Enemy - The music is enough for me with this one. 4. Yentl - Barbara Streisand. Dressed as a man. I don’t think much else needs to be said. 5. The Way We Were - While we’re on the subject…more people like this one, but there are people out there who hate Babs. Can you imagine?! 6. The Mirror Has Two Faces - Aaryn is with me on this one and I consider THAT one major accomplishment of my sophomore year at OU. I fear this could be my life someday, though I’m not so much of a frump when I put some effort into things and I will NOT be a college professor. Ever, ever, ever. 7. Fatal Attraction - Don’t ever break up with me. I’ve learned from the best. And seriously, you need to get the DVD and watch the alternate ending. 8. Minotaur - Most people have never even heard of this. I think a Hebrew film company released it, starring Mili Avital who has some spectactular curly hair. This movie is about obsessive love…and it’s great. 9. The Lake House - I get criticized for liking this all the time. It’s good. Watch the Korean version it was based on, Il Mare. 10. City of Angels - I get a lot of flack for this one, too. I like it. Wish it was a little darker, like Wings of Desire (German film that it was remade from). At the time it came out I had a little crush on Nicolas Cage. 11. Dance movies — Center Stage, Save the Last Dance, and Take the Lead, plus a few others that I’m sure I’m leaving out. I cannot resist these things. 12. Elizabethtown - I run into lots of people who didn’t like it, but for me, it works. Some people think it’s a poor man’s Garden State, but I like it better. That IS my family. 13. Splendor in the Grass - It is pretty old. I inherited my taste in films from my Grannie though. This is one I could watch all day though (and did, as Heather can atest to, when I was writing that paper freshman year over the social impact on sexuality in the 1920s as presented in this film). |
